Kundalini the yoga of awareness, is a spiritual and physical practice towards the release of kundalini energy. In yoga this is the feminine energy ( Shakti) believed to lie coiled at the base of the spine, on the muladhara chakra. When this energy is awakened, it rises through the spinal cord piercing all the chakras until it reaches the sahasrara or crown chakra. The primary objective of Kundalini is to awaken the full potential of human awareness in each individual and expand the awareness to our unlimited self.
This kundalini practice is suitable for beginners to intermediate level and it consists of traditional breathing techniques, yoga postures, body locks, mantras, mudras, kriyas and meditation.
Some of the exercises are performed in rapid movement, often in accordance with the rhythm of the breathing pattern which it will enable enough oxygen to flow through our bodies and release gases and stagnation. There will be initially warm ups, followed by a series of yoga poses and kriyas to detoxifying the internal organs and purify mind, body and soul.
Please arrive 10 minutes earlier. Make sure you download the zoom app in advance and check it's connected properly.
Avoid food before the class. Wear light and comfortable clothes. Have ready a large glass of water and/or herbal tdea and tissue to clear the nose during the breathing exercise. Try to do this class in a ventilated room.
Women on early stage of pregnancy should avoid this class.
